Wow, how time flies! This will be the 9th annual NON-RALLY at Palmetto Cove (521 Table Rock Road, Cleveland, SC).
Same format as before, eat and greet ;D
Shared meals, bring your favorite sides, or add to the donation pot and have a great time of fellowship.
I'm gonna be there Friday - finally in something more bus like than a 'Tin Turd'. :P
There will be several other groups there, so there will be plenty of folks to meet. :)
Looking forward to seeing all y'all ! ;D 8) ;D
I'm hoping the lower cost of diesel will entice some that have been missing the past few to make it to this one. 8)
Well, there are several from Florida coming up, and a huggable bear that I know of.
How many others are planning on attending? Will help to be sure I have enough food. . . .
It will be here soon ! 8) ;D
We are going to try to come at least for a day, may not be in the bus but it will give us an opportunity to meet some of you and get some ideas for our conversion.
Wes
The nut with the banjo will be there the entire weekend if they can get his medication regulated. His lovely wife and Kora will be along, but Kora isn't much on people food.
Jim H.
P.S. If you give a cat Prozac, it sits in the corner and goes mee, mee.
Karen and I will be there. You can look for us on the high dollar side!!! ;D

Leave room for an old Newell!
Jim looks like you and I are going to be all alone on the low rent side.
Maybe a real shiny mci may join us
uncle ned
Ned save me a place,I don't want Y'all to be all alone !
Ned and Glen, you know I'll be right with you where ever "our kind" is segregated, but Sophia might not look quite as much like Cousin Eddy's tenament on wheels as she did last time.
Cousin Eddie could only wish his looked half as good as yours!
Guys, I'm planning on being there this time as well. I can't let the Gillig "Low Down", er uh I mean "Low Floor" guys show me up. ;)
Darryl, you're always welcome even if your floor is in the wrong place. Of course you'll have to park with the nice looking buses.
Well, the bus is warmed up, I've been looking for a place to go for a few days away, might not be too warm in October down south, diesel is a bit cheaper. But it's two days on the road, might be too far - as in google maps says 48 hours on the road and 5,000 KM round trip. I'll have to think about this, I was going to go to a national park about 5 hours from here...

What! And miss Kyle's cooking, Glen's guitar and Gary's keyboard. Of course the scenery is ugly and everyone is too stuck up to be good company, so maybe you should go to that national park. Besides, October is such a dreadful time of year in the Blue Ridge.
Brian,
Days are usually Tee shirt weather, but it does get a bit chilly at night.
It would be AWESOME to see y'all again.
Hope you have a great vacation wherever you go!

Only 2-1/2 weeks !
The storm didn't do much damage here and it looks like the rain is done with us for a little while, the forecasts are calling for partly cloudy to sunny with little chance of rain. Highs in the 70's & lows in the 50's.
Getting ready & hoping I can get enough done at work so I can get a longer weekend. ;D
Another FANTASTIC Non Rally is in the books.
Was great to spend time with good friends.
Great fellowship & food.
It only rained on Saturday & it didn't dampen any of the fun - even if it dampen the chairs. ;D
There was a good turnout with about 50 at the meals.
Was tough to leave today as the weather was perfect - but I must make the required contributions to social security . . . . .
The Newell ran great & everything worked perfectly ;D 8)
Thanks for putting it together Kyle, I enjoyed the short time that I was able to be there! That was some mighty fine spaghetti and meat sauce friday night!
Charles, it was so good to see you this weekend. I really enjoyed the conversation.
Kyle So sorry I missed every one but family matters kept me away.
Came by sunday to check out the NEWELL but you hasd already dodged me.
It was the first one that I had missed but it happens.
Any one going to Arcadia. Hope I have better luck there than last year. Loosing to many friend and family.
uncle ned
Glad to hear from you Ned. If you had called, I would have had an excuse to stick around a little longer. :D 8)
Delmas filled in for you with his 4104 concerning those mosquito fogging duties ;D
All the best to you concerning those family matters, they definitely have a way of disrupting the best laid plans . . . .
At least we got to see Ned & Wilma. Everyone else had left and we were surrounded by Blue Birds.
