I've just added a page to my website that has a map of the RV surplus stores in the general area of Elkhart, IN. I've done my best to verify that they still exist. If anyone knows of any stores in any part of the country and would like them added, just let me know. I know there are some RV wrecking yards out there too.
Please, only places that you personally know exist and/or have visited in the last year or so.

I didn't realize there are that many RV surplus still left around Elkhart. A lot of them went under since I was first there in 2005 or 2006.
My experience from several trips looking for RV surplus is that Factory RV Surplus is rarely actually open. The owner seems to be open when he feels like it. I asked about Factory Surplus at some of the other surplus places and they said others have said the same thing about Factory RV Surplus.
Factory RV Surplus is no longer in the building out by the road, but in the one at the rear of the parking lot. They have always had that building, but are now expanding, since it is a lot bigger. From my experience they have regular hours as listed. Thanks for the heads up, if you are going to the area specifically for something it would be best to call ahead.
