Title: Removeing a extra Webasto
Post by: luvrbus on August 10, 2015, 04:22:05 AM
Here is the deal I have a diesel fired package hydronic system then I have another Webasto mounted in the rear on the drivers side engine compartment.

I want to remove it the unit is still plumbed with the fuel line connected but I can not find any controls of any type anybody know how MCI plumbed and wired the unit (DL model) it looks like it is plumbed to engine and the front heater but not sure it's not in the book.

I have asked the PO John he said he didn't know it was there I wired it direct it works it fired up and the pump ran no water was leaking I just don't know how it is controlled   thanks

Just a guess, but I would look at the dash heater controls.Sounds like this one is for drivers heat and engine preheat.

What model Clifford I might be interested in it if you are getting rid of it.  All of them I have seen had a timer/controller mounted somewhere in the cab.

Boomer -  I got one I'm getting rid of.  Be out your way this fall.  Round September.  Its a DBW 2010 Diesel fired coolant heater.

Clifford they usually put the timer under the dash next to the red door release knob on most of those MCI's.
But I've seen them in different places too! I guess it all depends on who installed it!
