Title: I finally retired!
Post by: Mex-Busnut on July 30, 2015, 05:31:49 PM
I cannot believe it has been almost a year since my last posts here!

We have had a lot of work and ministry travel (not in our bus), plus have had to do a lot repair and painting on our house.

No, not THAT kind of retired... I installed the new tires my friend gave me in December 2013.

;D

Please read the Retirement story here:

I always enjoyed your posts on here. My mom retired(from her job not her SUV :)) 2 years ago and she find that she's busier than ever.
Handsome bus you have there. Too bad DINA never got over up here but they had quality issues so that sort of explains that and you likely have the bugs out of yours.
May the Lord Jesus Christ continue to bless you in your travels.

Congrats on your retirement! I hope it is blessed with good health, happiness and good fortune.

I too have missed your posts.  Hope to hear more - hopefully on traveling in your bus.

I've been retired about six years. And yes, you thought you were busy before!!!  It's crazy - the time flies by. Make a point of enjoying every minute.

Regards,  Joel

Thanks for your kind replies. Just to clarify:

I re-tired, as in "put on new tires".

Blessings!

Haha funny, Steve. We have had a saying for years.... in the ministry the only kind of retirement is to put on new tires and keep on keeping on.

Mega Amen, Brother Thomas!

Hope things are going better with you, my friend.
