Title: 4106 Spring Brake Upgrade
Post by: Darkspeed on June 28, 2015, 02:17:25 PM
Finally getting around to relocating the brake mounts for the 3030 spring brakes.
They fit exactly without moving the bracket but I did not want them to rub so I moved the bracket inboard and now they have plenty of room.
It is an awkward location to weld but it is working out.
Also updated the front with new cans.

Thank you!
It is Rust Bullet Automotive.
I am using it as a primer.
I would not recommend it unless you have used it before as it can be a real pain.
If you have any hidden moisture between parts when you pain you can ruin a whole paint job.
The only other product I like of theirs is metal blast etch.
Everything else is bad quality in my experience as I have been refunded for bad batches of their white paint and would never use it again.

Yeah that's what used too. It sure sticks good.
I used the gray on the bus, all the baggage bins etc.
Just tried the black a a truck frame seem pretty good too.
