Post by: ridgeroadrunner on June 18, 2015, 05:16:02 AM
Can I go to  local hardware store to get cable and hardware ? Or where can I get pre made cables?

In my neighborhood the local hardware store wouldn't be able to help.  I've had good luck at an industrial hardware store that serves both the fishing industry and oil industry.  They know what they are doing and have the right equipment to crimp ends on cable.  You sure wouldn't want an end slipping off while a cargo door was open and your neck was in it's path.  Jack

As Jack says, see if a marine or boating store can do this.   My local West Marine store can custom-make rigging cables for sailing yachts, and they're corrosion-resistant stainless steel.

Call Luke at US Coach, he is awesome to work with and he probably has it in stock. He supports us and has forgotten more than most of us know.
Have delt with him many times and he is fair, honest, fast and knows what he is doing.
