Our government sure knows how to waste money.
The fact that the govt. spends money like there's no tomorrow is not news. Perhaps that bus was confiscated from someone(drugs or deadbeat) and later converted to a command center? Regardless of the bus's backstory, I guess 9 years is too old to be useful huh?
No government entity will lower themselves to convert used buses for their needs. After all, it is not the government's money.
This was converted from brand new, but obviously at 35,000 miles it is worn out.

It would be a kicker if the users end agreement states the bus is to scraped out you never know with that bunch, plus who ever buys it all the paper work and background checks involved blows your mind. I went through that sh** on the Humvee's like I was building my own Army ???
I wouldn't be surprised if they got a federal grant to buy a new one. The low miles are not surprising for something that probably never left the state and probably didn't get used much.
Typical gov deal they built it after Katrina hit Louisiana, with 2 slides that was a expensive shell
That's probably how they made the hurricane hit Louisiana? Its all in the Bus!...... ::)
If you paint out "Louisiana" from the sides, I'll bet you could park it anywhere with no hassle from the police.
Sitting at $133,000 now with 7 hrs. remaining. If I just new how to use my hands. LOL!
