You lucky dog those are factory DD liners, piston, rods and rings over 3 grand from DD save it if the 8v92 ever fails you only 2 more sets, the compressor looks like a Bendix TF 700 lol  I have no idea about a place holder

Lol cliff! The compressor had a tag. Silly me. It says TF750 though. Is there a difference between 700 and 750?

You have parts I would keep like the skinner, temp control valve and brake foot valve,he probably upgraded to a later DDEC version is why you have the DDEC II harness but don't toss someone will need it sooner or later before I forget always stand the liners on end not good to lay those on the sides,The 750 will pump a little more air faster than  TF 700 not much tho

Thank you so much cliff. Exactly the info I needed. How can I definitively tell which DDEC version I have?

Commonly used as a hydraulic fan drive filter... per Parker Ebay asking prices are $150-$200

I am so jealous.  My bus came with only a spare fan belt and two cases of bottled water.  Jack

Thank you so much gents. I'm writing all of this down. As full timers we have limited space to store items. So we are trying to prioritize what we keep. What's a foot valve? For the brakes? And why would one need a hydraulic filter for a coach bus?

well... if your radiator fan is driven with a hydraulic system vs. a fan belt ... (think power steering for a second here).... a 100$ filter dedicated to about $3000.00 worth of hardware is a very good idea...

Ahhhhh. Ok. I guess those new fangled radiator fans use them. Never knew that. Ok. Good to know. Not sure why he left it in the luggage bay.

Oh ok. I can look to see if my 748 has one. Also, this morning I noticed these posts in the curbside engine door compartment. Can I charge the coach batteries from these posts with a 24 volt charger? What's the purpose of having this posts back here?

Also, found this in the luggage bay this morning. Assuming it's the camshaft:

^^^

Correct is the Cam shaft assembly..
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Detroit-Diesel-23507995-Camshaft-Assembly-/290532792649 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Detroit-Diesel-23507995-Camshaft-Assembly-/290532792649)

if you need diagrams where the parts go just paste in the part numbers and i can run through the Detroit Diesel parts software..

lol better save all the 6v92 parts till you sell your 9 those cams are new the rebuilt cams from DD will have RR in front of the numbers fwiw.
Look at the options you would have advertizing your bus for sale instead of only 10,000 miles on a fresh rebuild you could say enough parts for a fresh rebuild in 10,000 miles that would work,DD parts are expensive the cam is around a 1,000 bucks new

Thanks Moose. Cliff, I think I'll keep this stuff. I'll store it in Michigan. And store those cylinders and Pistons upright.

Ok, I'm posting some stuff in "under $1,000" if anyone is interested. Have to clear these luggage bays. Anyone have any use for these? If not they go to the scrapper: (https://busconversionmagazine.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimages.tapatalk-cdn.com%2F15%2F06%2F03%2Ffb86d1ed26f81f2e4fc79b4b81c2cd28.jpg&hash=b16b9c194702d6b148f32f901844520ba88966a6)(https://busconversionmagazine.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimages.tapatalk-cdn.com%2F15%2F06%2F03%2F8f8c8e55d31232269fca1660ecc3e512.jpg&hash=e896dc3ecd98362a968cbd74a726d8470a729c50)(https://busconversionmagazine.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimages.tapatalk-cdn.com%2F15%2F06%2F03%2F12fda90f244331cfcd4a5f0ae33ebda6.jpg&hash=721e92a3cbec9ae24859bfa23c2bf5ba27807cb8)

Also, what's this? Some sort of sensor for a suppression system? Should I keep it?
(https://busconversionmagazine.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimages.tapatalk-cdn.com%2F15%2F06%2F03%2F967a2d43e8a12a2290bf6874dc2619ad.jpg&hash=e163fd20cff5b3c2229798d8c64b9501e1aefc3d)

Look in "the spare tire" section and I'll throw some of my spare parts stuff I found in the luggage bays in there. Radiator blower squirrel cage fans, fiberglass body parts, etc.
