I want to welcome Dave Rush on board as our Bus Conversion Magazine interim editor. Dave and his wife Amy travel full time in their MCI 102A3 Tikvah Bus. As they travel they also run Tikvah Marketing; a website and marketing company. They also manage Energy Nuts and often work-camp along the way.
You may remember the extensive Arcadia rally article in the January 2015 issue. Dave wrote that article and supplied all of the photos. You may have even met Dave and Amy at the rally. Dave also provided many of the photos for the January 2014 Arcadia rally article that Bruce Fay wrote as well, so he is no stranger to writing about and photographing bus conversions.
Because Dave and Amy are full-timers and live in a bus conversion themselves, Dave will be able to continue bringing real world knowledge to the people who are part of our family. Many of the people working for the magazine are either full-timers like me, Dave, and Mike, or own and travel in a bus conversion, like Phil. My sister Linda and her family used to own a motorhome.
Dave has agreed to assist Bus Conversion Magazine as Interim Editor while Mike Sullivan has stepped up to concentrate more on updating and improving the user-friendliness of our website.
I want to welcome Dave, who will continue to add value to the magazine while delivering the same very high quality content and maintaining the added value of the Bonus Content in the Digital Edition of the magazine that Mike Sullivan imagined and started. Mike will continue on as a contributing editor working with Dave to add even more value to the magazine. Mike has a vast background in bus conversions and his technical knowledge is second to none. You will be reading more technical articles from Mike in upcoming issues.
We hope you enjoy this issue of BCM which includes information about the 2015 Valentines Rally in Myakka, Florida as well as stories about Carson Christian's Hummingbird Coach and a Roadside Repair article about what to do when the main engine air compressor fails.
