I'm moving into my school bus. Its nowhere near finished. Heck, the bedroom still needs two interior doors, a sub partition, privacy film on the windows, curtains, lighting, carpet, a clothes rail, a small desdktop etc but I'm moving in.
I'm tired of paying through the nose for a rented hovel full of roaches near the prison.
Fortunately my gf is amenable to my bus being parked in her front yard so I've been working on it there. Its been a pain driving 16 miles from my house to hers to work on it then 10 miles back to go to work then 6 miles home. By moving in, my daily milage drops, access to the bus increases and speed of completion increases.

Congrats. It can take some coordination to work on a bus while you're living in it but it's right there and as you live in it, you can make priorities and get good ideas really quickly! Good luck from here on!
I'm working on doors right now between the bedroom and bathroom and bedroom and rear storage compartment.
Due to a constructional mishap, I'm building a door that's 23.75 inches wide at the bottom and 24.25 inches wide at the top. That door goes between bedroom and bathroom and will cut out the construction dust/debris or at least reduce the amount that gets in the bedroom.

Last summer we reskinned Sophia while living in her. Never mistake for impossible what is merely inconvenient, and be careful of constraining yourself to other's limitations. They're always happy to share them.

I'm right there with you. People have a tendency to pass on fears, prejudices and limitations. There are a lot of what my great uncle called the dontseewhys whose vision is so limited they can't see why people want to do vtge things they want and actively try to dissuade them.
I decided to stick with the regular inside skin on my bus. If I reskin then I might use the interior skin as window replacement panels.
Right now the emphasis is on getting the bus converted and fully self contained.
