My wife tries on the bark collar.

Angie, Angie, Angie.
Let me tell you a little story. I worked with a lady that was morally opposed to bark and shock collars. She would rant about how cruel they were, etc etc. One day she comes to work with gauze on her neck. She was at a friend's house and had a heated discussion with the husband about their "invisible fence". This is the part I never understood... she put the collar on and tried to run through the invisible fence! She fell to knees, still within the range of the signal, then blacked out. The couple dragged her out of the signal range but she got a good number of repeated shocks.
I reminded her that dogs have FUR and a totally different threshold for pain than people do. Oh well.........
I hope Angie is feeling better.
The Management has a bark collar for her corgi (like it will do any good with a breed that's going to do just exactly what it wants to do anyway). I'm going to encourage her to NOT do this!!
We had thirty acres of pasture spit into ten acre pastures. We did this with electric fence. The box was named "Bull Dozer" for a reason. Well, it is a long walk back to the gate so sliding under the fence made the trip shorter. This worked pretty well if you were really careful and the ground was dry. The ground wasn't dry one day. However, I figured if I was REALLY careful, all would be good. Not careful enough. I never even felt it hit. I was just face down flat in the mud and everything was throbing.

Scott, Scott, Scott. Let me tell you a story about brownies and exlax. Wait, I'll save you the story, but I was nearly expelled from school for that stunt.
lol! I never did stuff like that. But I had a friend who did....he made two batches of brownies. He told all the guys "eat the ones with the yellow sprinkles, and don't eat the ones with the blue sprinkles" so yeah, the girls ate the ones with the blue sprinkles....and let's just say my friend made a ton of female enemies. Wow. Never seen a group of girls so mad in my life.
