Title: Need Workamper in Central Texas
Post by: Just Dallas on March 29, 2015, 02:44:35 PM
I don't know if this is the right place to post this anymore, so if it's not, I hope one of the Mod's will move it or inform me.

Since I am no longer able to keep up with most of the work around here, the owner has given us permission to bring in Workampers.
We are 35 miles from Bryan/College Station, about 60 miles from Waco and Baylor U and Ft. Hood, 100 miles from the outskirts of D/FW, Houston or Austin, and about 150 from San Antonio.

Seriously, the work, after our spring clean up is almost non-existent, of the 30 hours, Cat says about 9 hours of that will be sitting in the bus, playing online, watching TV, building projects in my wood shop, or just exploring the area.

We have a couple coming in and they will be here until May 1th, so there isn't a lot of hurry to motivate in this direction yet.

Wife tells me to repost this ad she put on one of the Workamper websites:

Franklin is not a destination park but mostly overnighters and people working in the area.

We need someone to help in the office, yard work and routine maintenance. We are looking for a couple that can put in about 30 hrs a week and, quite a few of those hours can be spent in your own RV but being available for helping with after hours phones so that we can have a full day off. We are offering full hook up, paid electric, propane and WiFi. When you first arrive we will have a bit of work catching up on some things we have not been able to do but, after that, your work will be easy. Once the rush is over we can work it so that you are able to have several days off together if you want to go sight seeing or visiting. This can be either a long, or short term job, depending on what you want but we do ask that you be willing to stay at least 2 months.

Our office phone is answered from 10am till 7PM Central time, Monday through Saturday.
We answer the phone 24/7 if there is an emergency or a camper needs a place to park, meaning the calls are screened.

Our website is RVRelaystation.com so you can check us out.

Hi Dallas.

I sure wish I could talk Phyllis into not having to be within 30 minutes of the grand kids! I would jump right on this! Assuming you would hire gimpy legged old guys.....    ;D ;D

Phyllis says to tell Cat 'HI"
