My bus had and Espar diesel fired heater installed when converted in 1978. the unit was never used. The original owner never started it and the owner i purchased the bus from didnt even know where the control panel for it was. This was a professional conversion done by Excecutive Motorhome conversions so i assume they ran it for a test atleast. Long story short I have fuel and power to the unit and it wont do a thing. Took it out dropped off with a company in Dallas that services espar units they cant get it to run, really feel like they are in over their heads with a unit this old as they keep saying they cant find paper work on it. My question is anyone know of anyone who can work on this unit? I plan on calling espar in canada tommorrow to see if can ship to them. Any help would be great.
I've had good luck with these people, owner is very knowledgeable, be sure to have all the numbers off of the unit.

Had one in my bus since 85, installed myself, worked good couple yrs, nothing but nickle and dime stuff, could never rely on, finally took it out, now use gas heater much more reliable,
Thanks for the info, turns out this is a military version of the espar heater. Waiting on Ray to call back with possible connection for repair in Canada. If not espar still makes heaters for rv and truck sleeper applications.
