Well I went to pull the 1993 mci 102c3 conversion project out of the pole shed today and it fired right up after its winter slumber but now the darn throttle hardly works. It idles normal but when I press on the pedal it only revs up to 1500rpm. I tested the wires at the tps and it has about 4.8 volts comming into it but the signal wire has .1 volts at rest and maby .4 volts at wot. Should it be more? Do you think the tps is bad or another problem? Alot of work/cleaning was done don't know if I damaged something? Btw it has a l10e cummins in it pretty much same as a m11 and has a 3 wire bendix tps. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated. Oh the check engine light came on too but I can't it it to spit out the flash codes.
Could be the throttle position sensor or the turbo boost sensor.
That is just a guess.
Check the power to lift pump and be sure it is working
Here's a link to the DDEC Trouble Shooting Guide. Maybe it will help.

Ken
Guys he has a early Celect with the L10E I can't find anything on the voltage in my L10 E manual it should throw the 551 code with a bad TPS
The 2 volumes of trouble shooting manuals on a Celect makes a DDEC trouble shooting manual read like a kids fairy tale book ::)
Luvrbus that was another question I had along the many with this bus regarding the lift pump. It does run when I manually hold the switch in the engine bay but I don't think it does any other time. I wasn't sure if that was just there to prime the system after changing filters or sitting a while etc. The darn thing ran good when I parked it last fall. When I fist got the bus it wouldn't start and I narrowed it down to the ecu which I had rebuilt and it now fires up good but then this throttle issue. Do u know how I can get the trouble codes to blink on this thing? It has a rocker switch for the trans and ecu but it just lights up the engine light when I push it nothing blinks. Thanks for the replies thus far.
