The po of my 4106 had redone all the wiring for the bus at some point, including the generators wiring/relay. since then the gen light stays on constantly, but dim. can't really see it in daylight, but when dark (with or without headlights on) it is dimly lit.
at night with headlights on, the stairwell light and other interior lights flicker and i recall reading somewhere its something to do with the relay that controls the generator.
i've recently replaced both 8d batteries as they were cooked. also thinking that was tied in with something to do with this issue.
i've looked into the gen relay and it is a 12v relay, i've read its supposed to be a 6v relay. what would the symptoms and effects of having a 12v relay instead of a 6v be?
would the 12v relay be the cause of the gen light being constantly dimly lit? cooking two batteries? seems like the gen is charging constantly. regulator is set around 14v when bus is in high idle with headlights on.
