Just heard that fellow busnut Joe Laird's wife Frankie had a terrible accident at home. She fell down some of the basement stairs, is unconscious and there is bleeding w/in her skull. Let's all, in our own way, be supportive of Joe & Frankie as they work through this unfortunate mishap.

Does us too Paul we been friends for many years I am hoping Joe finds time to call with updates I am not going to hound him for info at this time of pain he will call some one that can pass it on

Me too. When I first started on bus forums to get info, Joe called me long distance just to say "hi", talk about some of the basic things I asked about, and welcome me. I'm sorry to hear this and hope that it all turns out OK.
Frankie is on a ventilator and has been transferred to Sioux Falls for treatment Joe will keep us posted as time allows 2 great people
Joe asked me to post this update, it is as follows:
"Thank you friends for your kind support! The ventilator was removed a while ago and Frankie is breathing on her own. She has a severe concussion on the right side of her head. The neurosurgeon said her brain has shifted to the right side causing bleeding between the brain and the skull on the left side. She also has a rib fracture and is still unresponsive to voice. She has several scrapes and bruises like she was dragged behind the bus. We'll know more in the morning."

Joe probably hasn't had time to share an update yet. I'm sure he will let one of us know when the time is right. He appreciates your concern I'm sure.
Joe or 1 of his daughters will post Frankie prognoses on F/B he told me yesterday but she is doing better and so is Joe both the girls are with him and Frankie now, that helps him and Frankie a lot so I will leave the the updates to the family he will keep us informed

The ventilator was reinserted yesterday afternoon.
Frankie is still unresponsive.
She is being tended to by the best Specialist in the world.

Our daughters are here and one of us is at her bedside 24/7.
