Title: Inserting clickable and colored links
Post by: DrivingMissLazy on December 27, 2006, 12:06:49 PM
1.  Type the link without the http:// as shown. Do not include the quotation marks.

"photobucket.com/albums/g279/Skulptor/?start=0"

2.  Hit button "Insert Hyperlink". Third button from left, bottom row.

3. Hit Save. Your link should now appear as a hyperlink "underlined" in black in your message. To add color continue on:

4. Now hit Modify button. This allows you to modify the message. Your hyperlink should now appear as this. Note that the url is now in two parts:

and
[photobucket.com/albums/g279/Skulptor/?start=0

Note url in brackets at the beginning and /url in brackets at the end are not shown. They must be present. .
5.  Now highlight the second half of the link: This is the portion of the link to highlight:
photobucket.com/albums/g279/Skulptor/?start=0

6.  Now hit select Color button and then select color desired and hit left click on mouse to remove highlight and then Save:

7. Your link should appear as a hypelink underlined and in blue in your message

photobucket.com/albums/g279/Skulptor/?start=0 (http://photobucket.com/albums/g279/Skulptor/?start=0)

8. You can make the link larger or bold or italics (and maybe others) by highlighting the same section and then select what action you want. Hhere I made it bold and size 12.

10. I have not yet determined how to add color to links from this board.

Have fun.
