Hey guys, based on the previous post on this, I put together a list of everyone, we have 21 busses total in the northeast, many more than I thought!
I wanted to put the list up here but its impossible to copy and paste anything into a post and keep the formatting so I have attached a pdf file but I doubt it will be very readable.
The gathering will be June 26/27/28/29 2015
I am working on the location, Saratoga state park in NY appears to be one option. Site must have electric at a minimum.
Looking at everyone on a map it appears that mid NY fairly close to the junction of RT 87 and 90 would be convenient for everyone.
We welcome anyone else who wants to join us, the more the merrier:)
Please note that I have listed your name and town in the attachment, and this was based on information in previous posts, so I'm not compromising anyone's privacy.
Other ideas on location are welcome of course!
Bruce
Well a pleasant surprise, you can open the pdf attachment and see the list
Let me know if you want me to update anything on the list.
I am in Berlin, Ct not Middletown.
Bruce,
Thanks for getting this going. Please let me what I can do to help. I'm looking forward to this!
Mark
We are in Lewiston, NY... At this point, the dates and location works for us !
Hey guys, I have made the changes to the list and re-attached. I don't have towns listed for the following buses:
Pennuja
PAbusnut
Loveshack
DmoeDave
Sweeny153
Newbusguy
Bevans6
NewBob
Homegrowndie
If you want to just share your town, I can add this to the list. I am working on mapping all of us so it would help to show at least your town. If you don't want to, that's fine too.
I found a good program that maps out addresses and I will share the map once it is finalized.
Mark, thanks for the offer of help, I think once we decide the location and make some arrangements, we will need to get into the details more and I will need your help.
This is going to be a great time, I never imagined that there were 21 of us, hopefully all can make it and we can attract some others as well!

Bruce, I'm also interested in helping. At the last rally we had up here, I think we had a few potluck meals and I did Bbq on the smoker for a dinner one night with folks bringing sides to pass. Let us know when your ready to hand out assignments.. We are willing to pitch in !
I have a commercial sized smoker. And a hot tub. Both travel with us in the bus when we go camping!
Now we need a portable bar. And an ice maker. And blender. And a bar tender. And a DJ. With a disco ball. And lights. Ok, I'm getting a bit carried away here.....
Portable bar ? Im thinking some PVC pipe, some fake bamboo.. Bang ! Instant portable tiki bar !
I'm liking this already! Mark and John are the pit masters, ribs and pork please!
I'm sure we can handle some blenders:)
I'm adding busses to the list so we know who has what bus.
Next step is to decide on a place, I'm on it..
I am in York, PA (First capitol of the US).
I "lose" one weekend a month to my part-time job, but am planning on being there if it is not one of those weekends.

I'm in Bel Air Md. I'm more of a transit bus nut, but still have the interest of preservation.
Bruce, Nice going with the list, end of June sounds good too, gives me a goal for getting the bus ready to roll.
Totally new to the bus gathering thing but looking forward to it.
Just another adventure to a devoted motor head,if it has wheels I'm there. Nel
OK Guys, I have updated the list with all the corrections and additions. We are at 25 buses now. I have updated the list to include everyone's bus. I have attached the latest list.
One question for all, I've started looking at locations and it seems that we can do a state park campground type setting or something like a fairgrounds setting like Arcadia where we all park together. Both have their pro's and con's and I'm a little worried about being spread out in a campground, not great for socializing unless I can get us all together in one area of the campground.
As you can tell, I've never done this before so looking for advice.
Bruce
The last gtg we had was at a private campground and we had an area with a pavilion to our selves. I think a place to start would be to talk to the state campground and tell them what we want to do. Maybe they could block out a loop or an area for us.
Thanks John, that's what I was going to do, I was looking at Moreau Lake campground but they have only 30' or 40' spaces and not many 40' ones, I think most of the buses are 35' and there are several 40'.
For now I'll keep going with the campground approach and see what kind of feedback we get.

Brian Evans, I'm in Tatamagouche Nova Scotia. At this point I plan to be there.

We are still at June 26 through 29 ? Good for us...
Wow, a few more replies! We must be close to 25 buses now in the Northeast! Sorry for the lack of response lately, I've got 3 weeks on the road for work this month and I just managed to get the flu or whatever plague is going around so I've been down and out for a few days.
I'm still working on the location for the gathering, ideas are welcome!
I will update and re-publish the list this weekend.
I was in Phoenix this week and had the opportunity to meet a guy that has 2 old Flx buses and a really old Brill, 1947 I think, with a pancake engine.
My location vote is for the Lake George area, Nel
I'm in Portland, ME.
Alley - You might like my Transit - maybe we'll see you there - Not sure yet myself if the date will be available - I will likely not know until the week before :-(
