Title: Happy Birthday Jesus!
Post by: peenhead on December 24, 2014, 02:36:28 PM
All the packages are wrapped, almost, the kids are going crazy, the important ones are gathered near and the ones who couldn't make it are in our thoughts. Dinner is almost ready and the wine is in the glass. Our bus will be parked in our driveway in the near future and the adventure will begin.

Thanks to everyone who has gotten us this far down the path and we look forward to new relationships the future holds!

Merry Christmas and a Happy, Happy, Happy New Year!

That's one of the best straight to the point Christmas messages there is. How the rest of the world forgets that and thumbs their noses.

Number One;   Religion and politics don't belong here, this is for buses.
It may come as a surprise that not everyone shares your beliefs.

Number Two;   It isn't his birthday.

And remember that on July 4th we can't say happy Independence Day on this site either as it was a VERY political discussion that got that started also.

Well Gus, you could've just skipped over the post.  ;)

Merry Christmas!

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

I knew that was coming.........

Merry Christmas to those who celebrate Christmas.

To everybody else:

Please accept without obligation, express or implied, these best wishes for an environmentally safe, socially responsible, low stress, non-addictive, and gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday as practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice (but with respect for the religious or secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or for their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all) and further for a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling, and medically uncomplicated onset of the generally accepted calendar year (including, but not limited to, the Christian calendar, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures). The preceding wishes are extended without regard to the race, creed, age, physical ability, religious faith or lack thereof, choice of computer platform, or sexual preference of the wishee(s).

Well stated. Bottom line is MERRY CHRISTMAS to my fellow Christians( and those who enjoy that day) who believe it is important to celebrate the birth of our savior regardless of when it actually took place. To the atheists, agnostics, and those not of the Christian faith...HAVE A NICE DAY.

Merry Christmas, folks! We had a fantastic time, the last few days, celebrating Jesus birth. It doesn't matter to me that it likely isn't the actual day He was born. However, it is a day that our world (in general) celebrates His coming, and that is good enough for me.

God bless,

John
