Title: A Big Thank You!
Post by: peenhead on December 11, 2014, 08:23:07 PM
Just wanted to give a big thanks to Van, Tom, and Gary for taking time to show me some of the projects going at B & B and for advising me on the bus I went to inspect. I look forward to discussing projects/challenges on our bus once we get it back home.

And a Texas size thanks to Cliff for his advice and expertise. Hope to see you soon and begin the journey.

Hey, Dennis,

What bus did you get?  We are not far since I am in Salado.

Trying to buy a good bus as soon as possible.

Did you pass over any in the 40' foot range with an automatic and 8v71 or 8v92?

Clifford is a national treasure, some others are, as well.

Dennis, it was a pleasure to meet you here in Vegas. Glad you found that right bus, it is the educated consumer that gets that perfect bus. Cudos on your purchase! We all look forward to seeing the progress on your build  ;) Clifford, you da man!  :)

Was my pleasure Dennis it is rare to find people that can look beyond the cosmetics and see the real value of a bus,to me that was a rare find in a Eagle no rust and 600,000 original miles for that vintage model, good luck just call me a couple of days in advance maybe we can run to Texas together

Dennis,

Welcome to the club of owners (and ex-owners  ;D). Sounds like you have a good setup. If Clifford says it's good, it is.

Clifford,

As Rusty, Ed, and a few others can tell you, others may have a hard time keeping up with the bus. Out west we would always run as quick as we could. That bus could run 80 all day long, and that was before you turned the HP up on it ;D
