quote from the listing
Who wants to have a high quality RV for Cheap? I did. I bought this bus to convert it to an RV for my family. However I never got to finish the project i started. It has all the interior gutted ready for somebody to come in and install cabinets couches and beds however they see fit. This unit has roughly 600,000 miles which for this motor and trans isn't that much really. If it stays maintained it will last to over 2 million. It will need to be setup like an RV and will need plumbing and generator installed, but it won't cost somebody near the amount of a finished Prevost RV which can go for over $100,000!! I just installed 4 Brand New Batteries in the unit at over $100 each. I also had the coolant system drained and filled with coolant so it won't freeze in the winter. This bus will start in 20 degree weather, anything lower than that and you will need to plug in the block heater. The exterior was painted with a roller and some paint by previous owner. I was going to strip it and redo it but again.  It has a broken window but as long as its not messed with it wont get any more damaged. (see pictures). Front tires are in decent shape, not weather cracked and about 60% tread left. The rear 6 tires are in varying stages of quality. None need to be changed immediately but they will need it in the next year or two. Everything else is solid and doesn't need anything. This is a very solid coach that I would trust all over the country and then some. I need this bus sold so it will sell on this auction to the best offer. No offers will be overlooked. Please make any offer you feel is appropriate. Please feel free to call me if your interested and we can talk about. phone number is 815 six seven four 9240.  My name is dave, and I hope to sell this amazing bus to somebody who can build it and appreciate it. The vehicle is titled as an RV in the state of Illinois. I also have a video of it running at idle for anybody who wants to hear it. Thanks for looking!

I didn't know 8V92's would last 2 million miles or that a converted Prevost could go for over a 100,000 dollars. I just can't believe it, how could I not know these things. I bet that previous owner was John Starr and that is his first roller paint job. Can you imagine the beauty and value?

Ken

please point out the other values I didn't see

Are you the high bidder Arnold at 500 buck  ::)answer a question for me while I have you what would cause me to not be able to set the idle rpms up on a 60 series the cruise is working

I loved to have a 92 Series that would last 2 million miles but I don't like the color, the length or the age of that bus.

If the fast idle doesn't work that usually means the ECM is not getting the signal that the parking brake is set. There can be more than one switch, but only one of them sends a signal to the ECM. Also, if the ECM is not getting a neutral signal from the transmission the fast idle will not work.

I see the Prevost in Florida is back on Ebay.  I don't it like either, the left front wheel doesn't match.

Thanks Ken the fast idle works I want to raise the idle rpm I am so spoiled on the idle of a 2 stroke I can't stand the vibration of the 60 at idle and this one won't go up or down.Lol the Ebay sellers one has to love those guy he didn't miss the mileage by much only 1,600,000 miles ,take care of a 8v92 you can squeeze 400,000 miles from one in a bus if you are lucky

Sorry, misunderstood what you wanted. The idle speed can be raised. I know the vibration at 600 RPMs you're talking about, very irritating. I set my idle speed to 650, that helped a lot. I would like to go a little higher but my centrifugal clutch starts engaging around 700 RPM. Automatics may have a problem with the torque converter if the idle speed is raised, but it can be raised.

Ken.

It is obvious you don't know what maintenance means. To most of us it means changing oil. Apparently the writer means maintenance is replacing cylinder liners, bearings, valves, etc.

And I can tell he knows what he is talking about because he thinks the only reason for changing coolant is to keep it from freezing.

To me the the complete description is funny.

The rear 6 tires are in varying stages of quality. None need to be changed immediately but they will need it in the next year or two. Everything else is solid and doesn't need anything. This is a very solid coach that I would trust all over the country and then some.

"trust all over the country and then some" What does that mean? I could have it towed anywhere in the US, maybe even another country and it would still be there when I arrived. He didn't say I would drive it anywhere in the county and then some.

Should I put my bus up for sale? It has 110,000 on it now so the engine should be good for 1,890,000 more miles. Based on that I should be able to get a lot of money for it.

To be honest I don't think the tires will last that long, but you never know.

That's OK, you can trust them all over the country and then some.

Yea the tour operators and entertainers start dumping the buses with the million mile 4 stroke series 60 about 6 to 700,000 miles they don't care for the 50 grand rebuilds let someone else do it

I always dislike when any seller puts in "PLEASE NO EMAILS OR TEXTS". Why? Afraid of putting something in writing?

I have seen small injector 12V-71's going upwards of a million miles before overhaul (with bearing changes in between). I had both a 6V-92TA and 8V-92TA. Both needed over haul around 500,000mi. If I were buying a Prevost, it would only have a Series 60 in it. Good Luck, TomC

The supposed owner owes his good friend, the lawyer, some money.  The lawyer says he has the title.  The owner claims he has the title.

Don't ask for pictures, they weren't forthcoming.

Collusion or collision?
