I want to get a locking gas cap for my MCI-9, Im not sure what the diameter of the cap needs to be, and there are lots of choices...Does anyone know what the right dimensions are?
A keyed dead bolt lock on the fuel filler door is a good way to do it too.

I removed the handles on my bus. I carry one inside and use it for fuel, gen, propane, engine doors. Tom Y

I want to get a locking gas cap for my MCI-9. . .
Brian -FYI, MCI offered a keyed lock assembly for the fuel filler door as an option. Most came keyed the same as the front door lock, if you have one. Either way, check your parts book or call Luke. (1-888-262-2434) That would be the simplest solution.
Because of the design, others have drilled a hole in the cap bracket and put a small padlock on in such a way that the hasp can't be opened. (That is if yours is not a screw-on cap.)

;)
Put a sticker that says "black water waste dump" on the fuel door. No one will open it up to see if it's diesel. :)
MCI just used old Ford pickup door locks the doubled sided cut key type cheap at wrecking yards
