The lower, convex mirror on one side has come unglued from its internal pivot housing. I'm thinking black silicone or 3M automotive badge and trim cement to glue her back in there.
Your thoughts?
THX in advance,

I just checked a Ramco mirror I bought and haven't installed there is a piece of 3M VHB tape in the box to mount it with but not enough for me to read the numbers, the stuff must be expensive as tight as they are with it ;D
I once had a mirror fall out on my pickup truck and I brought it to a glass shop and had them glue it back in.
Call Ramco, when I did they told me which black silicone to buy, I forgot what it was but they were very helpful, you can get it at any auto parts store
Glass shops use an epoxy. I used JB on a power head once. Proper prep and suitable hold to cure time, worked like a charm.
Glass shops use a adhesive made for mirrors a lot of adhesives and silicone will bleed through a mirror BTDT ???
I just replaced all four mirror glasses in my Ramco mirrors. Ramco support had me use black RTV silicone from Orillies. It is the same stuff used to make gaskets for transfer cases and differentials. It is strong enough to do its job and still be removable with a hot putty knife. The problem with using a stronger glue, like epoxy, is it will be nearly impossible to remove the glass without destroying the mount.

Yep that was it, couldn't remember the RTV part. They told me that is what they used at the factory. DK, be do know that it works and doesn't bleed through (as of yet ;D).
