Title: Help in looking for a Conversion
Post by: Chariotdriver on December 23, 2006, 06:01:26 AM

I thought that there may be some good deals out there that some of the members may know of that they would not mind sharing with me, especially if you are not in need of one at the moment.
I'm looking for something that a family of 4, 2 adults, 2 children, boys 8-4 could travel the country.
Any info out there would be appreciated.
Regards,
Phil
P.S. I hope that this is not in violation of any rules here.

Also the classifieds on this site have many buses in decent shape in the less than $100,000 mark.  In this day and age, it is almost impossible to find a new sticks and staples for less than that.  With your set up, many of the conversions will work for you.  My bus for instance has a permanent 80" x 60" queen bed in the rear, a 78" x 42" convertible dinette, and a sofa that makes into a 80" x 60" queen.  So with that design, your boys could have separate beds, but still have enough room to bring two more friends.  Conversions are made to sleep anywhere from 2 to 14 or more.  Good Luck, TomC

Thanks for the replies,
Believe me I have been frequenting this site, ebay, etc for buses for the last 4-5 months and know that there are more out there that are good deals that never make it to the sites like this and ebay etc.

If anyone happens to come across a sleeper, and by "a sleeper" I mean a great deal let me know.
I know that those that are still looking for personal deals would not pass along a find, just those that have all ready found the one that they want.
Thanks again,..
Phil

Phil:

What's a "great deal"????  Kinda subjective.
