Title: Ride height
Post by: daddyoften on September 27, 2014, 06:30:04 AM
I'm going to go pick up our new (to us) 4107 in about a month. The PO started a conversion on but became too ill to continue on so it's only been started. He removed the leveling valves, I believe, and installed a 4 push/pull valve block at the dash for custom leveling when parked. There are no pressure gauges for each bag and I'm sure in his present condition he won't have the previous ride measurements either. I only have about 250 miles to take it, at which it will sit and be gone completely through and redone at a later date, I just need to safely get it home. My question is at what measurement of either ground to fender or axle to frame would be ok for this drive? It has 12 22.5 's on it.
Thank you

NAME?? -

Pick up one of the little leveling bubbles from Camping World or another RV supply house.  You'll also need a regular measuring tape.

Set the bubble level on the bottom front step.  With the coach on level ground, adjust the valves so that the measurement from the top of the bottom step to the ground is 14" and the bubble centers as level.  Then you're good to go!

FWIW & HTH. . .
