Title: 4104 clutch check
Post by: Nel on September 26, 2014, 06:55:26 AM
Hey Guys, was just wondering if there is any way to check how much meat is left on the clutch disc, it engages fine and does not slip,  just for peace of mind in the future. there is a rectangle  opening where you can see the flywheel , is that where to inspect or is there another way?   thanks, Nelson

You may be able to see a little of the disc up through that hole with a small inspection mirror and a bright compact led light if you know what you are looking at in there. You'll have to get the mirror in between two of the three release fingers.

Nelson, spend 70 bucks or so at garbage freight for a flexible lcd screen inspection camera.  Mine has saved Me many hours of tearing apart for the fun of it.  You can also for a little more get one with a built in camera to take pictures.  You will find You can look inside of engine, tranny etc.  John L
