Post by: cloudy7282@bellsouth.net on September 21, 2014, 07:53:58 PM
1)  we have an 89 eagle that has a 6V92 TADDEC.  DOES  ANYONE KNOW THE HORSEPOWER FOR THIS MOTOR AND IS THERE A WAY WE CAN CHANGE IT ELECTRONICALLY
2)  WE HAVE AN OIL LEAK BETWEEN THE BELL HOUSING AND THE ENGINE WHERE THE DIRECT DRIVE ALTERNATOR IS SUPPOSED TO HOOK UP
ANY SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO  REPAIR THIS

330 to 350 hp was the standard for a Eagle no chip just programing you can take it to 400 hp if you have the correct turbo

Jay Leno had a 6V-92TA DDEC built up for his Flx bus that put out 435hp and 1350lb/ft torque at the dyno. One of out guys working with us now was on that team with Valley. 90mph up the south bound side of the Grape Vine. Good Luck, TomC
