Anyone starting from scratch on a conversion is going to spend more money and that's not considering any labor.
So many people just starting these projects are so naive it's sad.

Still $36,000 That is good money.
I'm not selling mine, but for those that are it maybe a ray of hope.

That is sick when people do that, bid a outrageous price just to play their stupid little games and have no intentions of paying for the bus you feel bad for Robert and Lola I do anyway

If they did that, Ebay will take action against them.

No Ebay won't do anything the high bid was 9600 till the who ever just kept bidding against his self, the bidder started at 10 grand and the only one bidding ran it up to 36,000

If they can prove that it was done intentional, Ebay sure will.

could be that b******o had set the high bid and e*****a kept bidding and was told that his bid was too low, meanwhile b******o had set his bid with an auction sniper program so that his bids were held until the last seconds of the auction. Clifford will you be able to know these folks well enuff to find out....or do you know they have been scammed ?

Here's what begins to frost my @$$, some one gets a decent price or offer on their rig and someone here steps in and says the market sucks, buses aren't worth that....Jeez fer crap sakes....your ruining your own market   THEN say but I wouldn't sell mine for that.... mines not for sale.

What I said was how I feel.
I hope your statement was not aimed at me Eagle19952
If so I hope this clears it up.
Maybe I just take things the wrong way
I hope it was not aimed at me.
I wish the best for everyone

no, it is just a general observation, this seems to be said too often....so many of the charter bus nutz are getting older or sad financial hurts happen and every time someone posts about needing to part with their dream someone pipes in with buses aren't worth that much and (hypocritically in my opinion) follow right up with but I would not take that for mine...you can't have it both ways....if yours is worth more to you...then why isn't theirs ?

Thanks for clearing that up for me
I'm new to buses, but drove tractor-trailers for years.
I now own my own small company.
One man truck brokerage.
Working on the 4104. It will be my motor home.
Here in 4 years we will retire and use it to visit family, freinds and see the country.

If they did that, Ebay will take action against them.

eBay will NOT take action against them in courts.  If you watch the number of non-paying bidders on eBay Motors, you will realize there is no way eBay can afford to do so.

On the other hand, auction bids like this can be used to validate insurance appraisals and claims for something more than scrap value.
