pic :This is our shower ceiling. 1/4 white acrylic sign material with Led lighting above. The whole thing is set on a ceramic ledge held in place with GE Silicon. Waterproof and spreads the led out fairly well.
Wow, nice work Bob! That looks really good.
Cheers, John
What a "bright" idea! :D Nice.
another angle:
I like it Bob, I'm finishing up my shower and it's got me thinking about lighting in mine. Iv'e also considered a vent which wouldn't help when it's dark out. What are you thinking for your door? I'm thinking a glass one instead of a curtain but haven't priced them yet. Craig
27 inch clear glass. Judy did a great job on tile so I want it to show. Bob

I use a curtain. It's easy to replace when it get's mineral deposit on it (though I think we still have the first one we put in). When not in use, the curtain is pushed back, allowing the shower to dry out. That's quite important. With the shower open, it also give the feel of a larger, more open bedroom area.
Oh, and I really like the idea of using that material for lighting with LEDs above it.
