Just put in an order with Luke, but he does not have any rubber for the D glass behind the driver and door, or the small glass at the emergency door. Does anyone have a solution for those? If not, I am going to try to come up with something that will work. He did say Peninsula might have it, so I will check with them.
Peninsula doesn't have the fixed glass rubber. Has anyone replaced them recently?
Trim lok is a good source. You will need to do some measuring.
Ken
Yep, need to get a micrometer so I can make sure my thicknesses are right.
I bed-ed the glass with the windshield cement that comes in a roll. Then filled the outside with black rtv. Tried to take a picture to show but it is too vague.

plastic vernier caliper will do that job and a few others....
I ran across an Edwards Sash Parts Catalog in my file cabinet today I am not sure if it is available from them if they are even in business but maybe this will help.

I believe CL Lawrence may have some of what you need. Again you will need good measurements, as they will not recognize bus parts lingo.
Steel Rubber Products has an impressive selection of rubber extrusions.

The main thing is that I am going to have to find the right size and type of material, then form it to the opening, because there does not seem to be anyone who makes the exact stuff. I do have some extra rubber on the bus I can mess with as well as a very good glass company locally. Once I figure out what will work I will let you guys know so that we know for next time.
Some have found them here in the past.

I've got what you want. I'll send you a photo tomorrow when I go to the shop. I've got plenty, so I can send you what you need for cost of shipping.

My bad. I don't got what you want. When I replaced all the flat glass in the bus, I had them cut the "big D's" 1/4" LARGER than the I.D. of the frame. I then used a 1/4" x 1/4" U shaped seal with 45* bevels on the edges, and the window fits snug in the frame. Profile of seal looks something like this. (Use your imagination - a lot!)

Thanks for trying Gordie. I am going to really have to look at a way to make this work.
You might contact Carolina Houdaille @ (704) 333-6669, 1914 West Morehead Street, Charlotte, NC 28208. I needed some exterior molding and looked on line for hours to find a source. No luck but thought I had a candidate so went to the Lake Norman area north of Charlotte and was disappointed at first. Then the shop manager recommended I go see Carolina Houdaille. They had what I needed in stock. Carolina Houdaille has an sizable building with nothing but moldings for use in restoration projects. Send them a copy of the diagram posted above and enter into a dialogue with them and just maybe they will have the NOS molding you need.
BTW, for those of us that don't know just what a Houdaille is, and I count myself in that category, it is the first hydraulic shock absorber made for automotive use. They actually had one being used as a paperweight on the shop manager's office desk. At one time there was also a Florida Houdaille so there may be a chance one is located closer to you in Florida.
I hope you find something I will need to replace every side window rubber seal in mine as well so it will be good to see what you end up with.
