They have 8 Cummins QSM11 on Government Liquidators those you can can really put the power to those because they have all the good stuff inside you can go up to 700 hp and 1750 ft lbs of torque heck I trying to buy and not a big Cummins fan
The engines sold for over 8000 bucks not bad for a fresh engine with 0 hrs but more than I was willing to pay
Agree, the QSM is just the industrial version of the highway ISM. The QSM is for generators, marine etc type, not highway, different EPA rules at one time.
Love mine, a ISM500 with 1550 ft lb, does grand in the 30,000 lb coach. Not near the 8V-92 @ 600+ in the MC7.
One big advantage the Cummins has over the DDC, is the radiator requirements.

Probably Cummins bought those 4 of us went together to bid but 64 grand + the buyers fee for 8 engines someone had a few coins lol we wanted all 8 for 10 grand
They got way to rich for me. I couldn't believe the one without an ecm went for so much.
