Title: bus sales
Post by: ruthi on September 05, 2014, 07:05:05 AM
It is amazing how cheap busses are going for now. I know fuel is high, but, good grief. I have more money tied up in add ons in my bus than I am asking for the whole bus. I have just gone done to 35,000. wow, are you kidding me. Only reason we are selling is because of our own financial issues with what has happened in our own lives. I guess it is what it is though.  :(

I'm curious, are you even getting any honest tire kickers?  Or just people offering to sell it for you on their web site?

Hi there. Lots of people wanting to advertise it for us and get a fee. Several people contact us for pictures, but I think they are just curious. One person interested in actually purchasing, but not as much as we are asking. Started out at 50, went down to 39, and now at 35. Due to our problems, just have to bite the bullet and end up taking the highest offer. Would sure like to get 35 at least for it, but, who knows. We dont have a lot of time, so, somebody will get a heck of a deal.

I've got an incomplete / project listed over on BNO that is getting honest interest.  Lots of e-mail tire kickers, but a couple folks that have come and looked.  No buyers yet.  No offers to list it elsewhere, which I'd have no interest in anyway.

If you get a quarter on the dollar, you're coming out a big winner -- take it and run.  Just because you spent X dollars on the coach or you say it's worth X dollars to you, it's just not worth anything to anyone else.

Cheers, John

On the Eagle FB page there was a beautiful late model red Eagle conversion well cared for, the paint probably was 20 grand or more I think the guy let it go for the 40 grand offer it is a shame selling in today's market

It is a shame. Especially for those who put so much into theirs, and are in a bind like we are that need to sell to survive. Cant sit around worrying about it. I guess in the end we will sell for best offer.

Sad reality is the economy probably isn't going to recover anytime soon. It will take a long time to heal what this admin did in the last 6 years.

Yeah I know probably OT but it is what it is.

i dont think so either. But, for those who still have it, sure is a good buyers market. Sad when you pay more for a shell, than you have to turn around and sell it for.
