swap the motors  ??? :P ???
the wiper arms are indexed incorrectly on the outside  ???
the bell cranks on the inside linkages are indexed improperly  :-[

I would say probably in the wiring the dc supplies the power to park the wiper and with the power supply off then it becomes a ground are you using a relay or a direct hook up ? is this a kit or a home brew

I have a two motor setup, but both motors are operated from one switch that keeps them synchronized. Goes from adjustable intermittant, to slow speed to fast speed. Push the button for wash. All in one control button. Good Luck, TomC

I used the two switch...just because some times i only want the drivers side and..it eliminated a bunch of linkages.... thats why I asked.

There's no linkage between my two sides. Each windshield has its own motor and is synchronized through the single control switch. Good luck, TomC

we figured it out.  we moved the arm on the motor 180 degrees and the wipers now stop to the inside like they are supposed to.  thanks for all the input
