Title: rear hub seal for 1973 mci 7

In need of a outer bearing seal for my MCI 7. The part number we have is 370178 BGO and also  a axle flange gasket that has 10 9/16 holes on 7 & 1/4 bolt circle. any help would be appreciated & also if any help the axle has a part number of 9-72.  Need ASAP as bus is down.

That is a Boss Seal it should be easy to cross-reference pretty much a standard wheel seal so is the axle gasket

Ed -

Shouldn't be hard to find the Hub seal for that.  We just did ours and instead of using a gasket for the axle flange we just used some heavy duty form a gasket sealant which worked well. 

We used the stemco grit gaurd seals.  It was nice as stemco provides the tools to tap the sleeve onto the spindle and set the seal in the hub.

Call Orilley auto and might ad an A after the number for the National, and plus 1 on the silicone for the axle gasket used it for many.

Which is less costly the .88 cent gasket or the gasket maker sealant  ? I seen a tube of that crap on 1 axle before
