Title: 15 or more Neoplans scrapped near me in Colorado
Post by: bigtim44 on April 23, 2006, 07:24:51 PM
A buddy of mine who works for the local transit authority let me know that they have scrapped nearly 20 neoplans to an outfit called Eagle auto salvage Eagle Colorado.
I was told by my buddy that most of the buses were running driving units, some with recent motor rebuilds ,some with new batteries, and alot of them with good virgin front tires ,and excellent drive tires. The actual buses are rusted really bad.
Just giving everybody a heads up.

1994 Gilligs with Cummins L-10's and what appeared to be Allision HT748's going to Tampa Machinery Auction again next month. There's a Grumman/Flx 6V92 coming up also.

The last auction had about 6 of them plus a couple of 1995 B-Birds on Propane 30's and all went last and cheap as I heard.

I cant find a website for them but here's the addy

Eagle Salvage
111 Violet LN
Eagle, CO 81631
(970) 328-7769

They appear to be a member of automotix.net which means you should be able to inquire about parts like any other salvage company.
