Just south of Portland, OR on I 5 and would like to get my brakes adjusted. Any ideas of where I can get them adjusted? On our way south to Eugene, OR then to Coos bay, OR. Have gone 2000 miles on this trip and after taking care of family visits we are meandering our way down the Cal coast.

Go with Kaiser if you can get past all the Eagles there it looks like a Eagle rally going on at his place ::). I doubt David will adjust the brakes on a bus for someone he doesn't know he has pretty much written off bus work the last time I talked with him even sold his bus
If you have blocks to get the bus up and crawl under safely (or put it up on a curb)-you should learn how to adjust your brakes yourself. All you need is a 9/16" (at least on my bus and truck) combination wrench. The trick is you have to release the parking brake to adjust it-so properly blocking the wheels so the bus doesn't roll is VERY important. In the old days, every truck driver knew how to adjust their brakes since self adjusters didn't come in until around the 1990's. Good Luck, TomC
Kaiser or Mid Lane Truck Repair in Eugene. SOD is out of working on buses unless Dave and Dennis know and trust you. Also there is a truck repair shop just south of Coos Bay on the right going south on 101.
Ed, i am just setting here at Kaiser wait to see more buses pull in... bus rally..
thanks all I was able to get the brakes adjusted at a Volvo dealer in Sougorn, or. Yes I do know how to adjust the brakes but with my back out of whack I just did not feel like crawling under the bus. Now just north of Coos Bay, Or for a few days then on down toward San Jose, CA.
