We have been working on adding a battery bank to our project. It is nearly finished. I just have to add all the wires to make all the boxes talk to each other.
That really looks good. Nice to have a pull out tray.

Hi Steven, nice job, Im sure you already thought of this, but cable ties and strain relief for you battery cables, will keep the positive cables from scraping the insulation and shorting out to the body or tray, lvmci...
Looks great +1
Very nice job, Steven! How about a close-up pix of your slide rails for that tray? Did you fabricate them, or purchase them? Thanks in advance!
With 1,20amp/hrs at 12vdc, be sure you have a fuse (like a 600amp) on the positive side. Good Luck, TomC
That was supposed to read 1,020amp/hours.
That's some serious power in the luggage department!, great job and I also say the roll out is super cool. more pics please
good day to ya
Looks great, and glad to see work like this :o keeps me motivated. thank you :) ...George
Thanks everyone for all of the positive comments, tips and advice.
Dr. Steve, I wish I could take credit for the slide but I bought it from slide-masters. It is all aluminum and rated to hold 1000 pounds.
The folks at Southeast Power Systems in Orlando finished what we started with the electrical system. I think they did a great job.
Hi Steven, is that a power cord reel, in your 2nd picture? Lvmci...
Steven, how did you like working with Buck? Pretty good guy, wouldn't you say? Good referral and a well qualified and fair priced place if you need power systems, mechanical or electrical, in central Florida - FWIW
LVMCI - Yes thats a shoreline electric reel. I also have a matching one for the fresh water hose. I purchased both of them rvupgrades.com. They also offer one for the sewer hose but I haven't as of yet purchased one. So far it has been a great help dealing with the 50 amp power chord.
Niles 500 - Buck and the entire gang in Orlando have been great to work with. I pride myself on doing all of my own work on the bus but this part is way above me. Like you said, well qualified and fair priced.
Steven remember to unroll all the 50 amp cord if you are drawing heavy amps the cable will get hot I almost lost a bus by not following a guys advice on unrolling all the cable I left all but about 5 ft rolled up running 3 AC in August in the 110 Phoenix heat for 4 days it melted the cable in 1 place, just passing it on but that toggle switch is nice to roll the heavy sucker up though ::)
I like mounting the inverter inside since it is better climate controlled. Otherwise it looks great! Good Luck, TomC
