Title: Boise ID Storage
Post by: Tom Y on June 22, 2014, 01:52:29 PM
Looking for a place to park my bus and trailer for a couple weeks, end of August - first week and half of September. Hoping to fly out of Boise to home in Pa and come back to hunt in September. Looking for a safe place for my baby with or without electric for fridge. Lock and leave. Ideas? Thanks    Tom Y

I was just in than area Salmon fishing, only thing close to that area is McCall or Cascade a 50 mile trip one way ? you hunting with one of the out fitters from Mackay Bar that is a tough @$# area to hunt and when you do drop one it takes 2 days to pack it out BTDT

Fwiw, Garden Valley is 1/2 way between Boise and McCall

good luck

We had to fly home unexpectedly when we were in Idaho - we left the bus here for two weeks:

Right next to the airport, great people to deal with...

Yea that is Mountain View by the airport it would get a little expensive to store a rv there I would think the one on Franklin Blvd or Fairview I forgot which did have storage and  Clints RV repair off 5 mile not far from the air port had storage also  Things have changed a lot here since we moved in 1992. lol like cherries are 4 bucks a pound here now and traffic is a nightmare all the way out past Caldwell

I have an Aunt & Uncle in Nampa that may or may not have room to park a bus.
(I haven't been to their new place)

I'd have to call an ask if they have room, if yer interested.

Steve, Thanks I called but they do not have room but a camp spot at 31 a night. They suggested Cale's storage.

BK, Thanks but I don't want to ask. I may just stay out there or find a storage lot.  Thanks Tom

I don't know if you want to go out as far as Mountain Home (50 miles) but we have our bus parked in a locked storage place.  It's an outside lot (basically a big dirt lot behind the storage buildings) but the guy constantly drives around checking the lot (he lives there) and he is only charging us 40 a month.  It's gated with codes and everything.  The guy who runs it is really cool.

Thanks Mistriver.  Hoping for closer to the Airport, told of a place called Cale's.  Need to check more.  Thanks Tom
