Hi,
The bus started to feel like the front was wandering on crowned roads lately.
I had it checked and sure enough there was play in the King Pin on the right side.
As I understand it , the right side takes a beating from the crowned roads more than the left.
I'll have the local shop do the installation.
I got the parts from Luke @ US coach.
I hope it goes smoothly for the local shop.

If you have the tapered king pins, it is a simple & easy job. Howsomever, if you have the straight type, yup it can be a job.

Hi Dave,
The pin is tapered in the middle.
The kit I have has plastic bushings.
I don't yet know the design of the existing pasts but I'll find out soon.

Frank, I had the MC7, it had the tapered style, Anyone with any mechanical skill & needed tools will find this a straight forward job, seem to recall less than 2 hrs each.

I did my own also, but it was no picnic.after numerous attempts with heat and clamps, had to use a big ole sledge hammer to get it out. I also had to have the steering knuckle machined and sleeved to receive new bushings.I have the otherside to do now,but think it will go much quicker after the lessons I learned the tricks.
good luck
