Title: mci bocy parts

anyone know if the triangular shaped pieces that go on each side of a mc 8 which weld to the engine rail which the removeable  crossmember  bolt to are available  from mci , I call them and no one seems to know anything? mine are steel and rusted out  , not sure if they have been replaced everthing around these are stainless,

They are called Motor Door Posts, one piece with the upright frame section which is basically the door frame.  Mine are stainless.  Part number from a MC-5C is 3C-59-141 for left hand and 3C-59-140 for right hand.  I think the MC-8 part would be identical on the triangular section but a shorter door frame bit, I think the doors are taller on the MC-8 but I never measured to be sure.  Maybe part numbers will help.
