Title: Passenger seats
Post by: Dave5Cs on May 30, 2014, 04:57:56 PM
Does anyone have these recliners in their bus and if so are they comfortable and able to be used for passenger as well as lvg Room area chairs? Good price and seem like they would be.

Thanks Dave

Dave -

Dunno about those, but several busnuts have had good results with middle-row seats from Toyota Sienna mini-vans.

FWIW & HTH. . .

I will check those out RJ. We tried the flex-steel and were not impressed. They look nice but are not very comfortable. The Bostrum low riders with swivels we have now are air ride but don't really need air ride for living area. We will be going to Yreka in August for 10 days to threads and strings festival.

I installed 4 of the Sienna seats. They look great, recline with leg rests, and integral seat belts. I built super solid rotating mounts. Pix of seats and mounts at  http://this-old-bus.blogspot.com/ (http://this-old-bus.blogspot.com/)

I don't know where you're located, but you can get brand new seats pulled out of conversions in Elkhart, IN. You can buy as many matching seats as you need.
