Hi Clifford, theres a MCI7 in Henderson,  dont waist your time, ask DanR, lots of damage.  A few others are all Eagles and GMs, nothing else on CraigsList that I know of, would be happy to look at it for you, there was a MCI9 NV prison bus, no seats with an 8V92, no rust, in NLV, dont know what happened to it, might the one you mention be at LV Bus sales? The belt drives a 90 angle when people convert over to the side mount radiator from the 2 smaller radiator and the cage blowers above, not a bad setup if done right  I have seen several over the years where the MCI guys used the radiator and drive from a Prevost

Luke has an 80 or 81 MCI 5C sitting at his place that is for sale, a widow owns it. Outside is very nice looking,  i looked thru the windows and the conversion looked nice from what i could see of it. He says the bus is in good shape and doesn't need anything. Asking price is a little high for the market, ($49k), but as we all know, asking and selling price are very often very different.

Hi Clifford, it is a combo, were there mc8s that were combos? 10 wheels, on aluminum wheels, all tires are in very bad shape, big chuncks of tire missing. The pully says 8V71, lots of stuff in engine compartment nonstandard, big paper air cleaner, large belt driven 90 degree single radiator just as you guessed, both windshields are broken, looks like the side skinned in fiberglass and its shredding. Caps front and back, all exterior lights have been changed, they appear to be prevost, couldn't see thru any bays, but no latches for bay doors seem rusted, only minor rust, doors themself are cable lifts, most broken, di 7 or 8s have cable bay doors? No airconditioners on roof, too much junk in bays to see bay air units, has a generator, built in small bay in front of rear wheels, could be diesel. No key to front door, windshield to messed up to see much, looked nice. Ill load some pictures, lvmci...

very nice Terry, any rust?

Clifford, the guys name that owned it was Jason, he was living in it for a few years before he passed, no plates, TITLE may be a problem, dont know for sure, Mike is the brother, he answered the phone listed in the add on CL, I asked if this was Mike, he said NO, what do I want? I said I was calling this number because it was listed on CL, he said yes it is mike, thought I was a bill collector! anyways I think its worth $2K maybe $2500, just for the hassell factor of moving it. Bones seem to be ok, cant start it, no batteries, keys seem to be lost, people who live on the property, want it gone, they didnt even know it was for sale. Minimal rust, cant see underneath to look for more rust, cant go inside, some of the fiberglass exterior looks worn, if the bags have been all the way down that low to the ground, they may be cracked, must have been nice in its day, tom, lvmci...

No rust that I have found. Owned the coach 10 years and been all over, under, around, and through it. My wife wanted to downsize and i made the mistake of buying a S&S. No comparison in the two but now I am stuck.

Hi Clifford I look at that bus but it was real dirty on the in side and had to reach through the
windshield to open the door it need a lot of work both inside and out. Do not even no if it will run.
He did not come out to show it to just told me how to get in. Tires are bad. Tom got some good pictures for you.
He would not go below $10.000 when I look. worth maybe $2.000 at the most.

Clifford, I didnt measure it, but Gary thinks it might be a MCI6 Combo, from the way the front and cap looked, lvmci...

The combo was a freighter and passengers bus combined and the tag had duals like the scenic GM, some had a huge side door to load freight

Doesn't look anything like an MC6. A MC6 is 102" wide. Is this one?

Hi JC, I didnt measure it,  if I get the time before I go on the road, Ill go over there, Gary was looking at the windshield and side drivers window, the interesting thing is the after market fender flares are big enough to cover the unusual wheel wells of a mci6, Bob & Pearls mci7, "Cozy", had mci6 wheel wells too, you caan see it in the BCM Magazine about the Dam Rally, tom, lvmci...

That is a MC 7 according to the siding and the tear drop window. They put an 8 fiberglass cap on it and ruined it. Took the bump out. I hate it when they do that. Doesn't look like a combo because it has a standard tag not a combo tag or second live axle. not a 6 has the wrong siding on the front breast plate.

Clifford, lookout for trantulas and snakes, you may need a spyder and snake wrangler, it does have 8 wheels in the back, Im pretty sure, are 7 windshields still available? I dont think youll be able to drive it to Wiens Tire to replace all the tires, even tho it only a few miles away. The lady that owns the rustic house is an old state assembly woman, she was friends with the the bus owner, not the brother. Good luck with this, if you need help, give me a call, tom...ps, no batteries in starter bay...

The 5 and the 7 use the same windshields, have been told that you can get them out of Tn. (or maybe it was Ky.) for $250 each.....that was a few years ago though.
