this was for sale around tampa,86 dina with 80,000 orig. miles with 22 miles on a new 6v92.new from factory as a shell. just seen it north bound on us 27 in sebring,fl. any one from here buy it? ad said 22,500 obo thanks jim
Why would any vehicle with only 80,000 miles have a new engine?
Most likely not owner driven, would guess idiot driver/s even so, 90K and need a new 6V-92 ? Truly amazing.
Most anything could have happened including over eithering, that will sure stick a rod outside the block for example. Saw that on a 12V-71 and they are pretty idiot proof, but two cans of either at 8f, no block heater, sure did stick 2 rods out of the block, that was the time I started getting interested in the 12V for my MC7.

Hi All, they just got a Dina at B&B in LV, it sure is high off the ground, like hi water pants! Lvmci...
this one looked just like a 69 flxliner ,but it said dina. most of you know when flx closed up someone from mexico started to make them again. the guy was going to redo inside and travel in it but gave up.it was a factory shell turned into a conversion.look real good. thanks jim
Hello! Just joined BCDBB and tonight was our first time searching for any discussions on a Dina and Lo and behold the very first thing we find is a post where you (Jim) spotted us driving our "new to us" Dina north on 27 in Sebring ! What are the odds of that?? We were on our maiden voyage from Lauderdale to Tampa, hoping for the best! She ran like a dream. Oh and For the record ... Just a few corrections..she has 66000 original miles. The gentleman we bought her from was only the second owner. On his trip in 2012 from out West to Lauderdale to bring her home, he reported to us that everything went very well until Ocala, FL. Well....he wasn't sure what exactly happened at that point to the motor..but long story short....rather than rebuild he opted to replace!!
Look forward to learning and sharing all we can about our new project ..thanks..Brint and Ginger
welcome, brent&ginger. I seen you dina on graigslist and was surprised to see it going thru sebring. I had a 69 flxliner that looked just like your dina. I have a 65 4106 now. put pictures up when you can. good luck jim
