Title: windows for my 1960 4104
Post by: Nel on May 07, 2014, 04:44:40 AM
Hey everyone, spring finally and busy working on my 4104 interior, noticed plastic windows in 2 spots that I wouldn't mind putting original glass in. One is the two sliding windows in one frame on the rear passenger side , they are a green plexiglass now and the other is one of those quarter round windows on the rear driver side, also painted plexiglass , any place or anyone want to sell or have xtras, let me know. Thanks Nel

Nel -

All of the side windows on your 4104 are simple flat automotive glass.

Any good glass shop, especially one that deals with 18-wheelers, should be able to install new glass in the frames for you.  Lots of various tints available, too.

Call a local school district, a local charter bus outfit, or a local HD truck dealer and ask them who do they recommend for replacing windows.  That should give you a clue.

FWIW & HTH. . .
