Title: Adjustable Bed?
Post by: jmblake on April 17, 2014, 10:44:37 AM
I have a good friend that bought a new Allegro bus and wants me to remove the king bed and install a adjustable bed. The main reason is he needs to sleep with his head elevated and she needs to be flat so it would have to be a split unit. he seen a Winnebago offers a wall hugger bed that when in the raised position makes it shorter so when the slideout is in you have more room to walk through but it is not split. Does anybody use or have any experiance with something like this, we found this bed http://www.lpadjustablebases.com/p-132.asp (http://www.lpadjustablebases.com/p-132.asp) but I don't know if it could be made fit into a slideout.
Thanks Jason

Tempur-Pedic makes bases (plus great memory foam mattresses to go on top) that will do exactly what you want -- and heat and vibrate to boot.  Standard bed sizes, so if there is room in the slide, seems like it ought to work, and an Allegro should handle a little extra weight.
