Title: Road trip, yea!
Post by: lostagain on April 17, 2014, 07:13:34 AM
Leaving here, Blackie, Alberta, just South of Calgary, Sunday morning 20th. Butte, MT the first night to visit my son who is in school there. Down I15 to Vegas by Wednesday to check out B&B and visit Van. Tom, aka LVMC might be there too. Then at the Avi KOA near Laughlin for a few nights to take in the River Run for a day. Been there before, one day is enough! One friend will be in his Prevost XL, and two others riding their bikes. Am trailering my bike. Any busnuts wanting to meet, call me, text, WhatsApp (free), or email. Info in my profile. Can't wait. 2 inches of snow this morning here...

JC - We may pass you in the night.  We are in Vegas now headed out to Mt. Zion over the weekend and then back through Vegas probably on the 22nd or 23rd.

Text me when you get into town and let us know where the party ends up being.  Maybe we can swing by for a night to say hello.  (407) five nine two - 3347

Great idea! My only commitment is reservations at the Avi KOA April 24, 25, 26th. I imagine it would be fairly busy because of the bike rally in Laughlin. So either Wed the 23rd, or on or after Sunday the 27th would work. I'll be around for that week (27th to the following weekend. Anywhere around Vegas, Boulder City, Laughlin, Needles area...

I could be in Vegas by Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. I don't know how much parking space there is at B&B, and if camping overnight is an option. Van? How about Lake Mead?

Hi Guys, got in last night from Hollywood, JC,  Van says you can park overnite at B&B, no power tho and no one will hassle you, its right behind the Palms Hotel on Arville Rd, at the end of the hotel/casino parking lot, flamingo/arville, just a block south of that intersection, Sean are you still on Boulder Hwy? JC, where Sean is at is a clean park also, but not near the Strip, if I can, Im gonna change out the seats and bring the bus up from LA, you gotta see the 5 busses Gary, Van and Joe, are working on, putting slideouts in a prevost, repairing and rebuilding,  another fire that gutted the engine compartments and interiors in others, amazing, lvmci...

Van - you slacker.  I went by there Friday and Gary said you were playing hookey.  Something bout Clifford selling you a bum jeep (just kidding Cliff) and the tubes were bad.

We are driving back through Vegas on the 23rd.  If lake mead is really 5$ that works for us. But we might swing by BnB as well.

Just let us know where you are on Wed and we will swing by.

Then tires on the truck let go Tues so decided to get those done and ah heck might as well do a round of tires on the bus too  :o ::) only money right? lol! I luv our new (to us) YJ (toad) getting everything right so we can hit the road this summer (still in the planning stage). I will be at B&B all week to (at least Wed  ;D ;D) Hope yall show up at once there cause I'll probably be needing a break about then  ;D
