Western GM Coach Chapter is holding our annual Election Rally soon. The Rally will be held at the Riverside Hotel/ Casino RV Park in Laughlin NV from the 14th through the 18th of May 2014. It seems that all organizations have bickering and in fighting over policy. We feel that those issues can be settled at the ballot box rather than flaming each other over the internet.
I strongly request that every member (guest are welcome) attend the Rally and make your opinion known. For those unable to attend, please fill out the ballot that was sent in the newsletter last month and mail it in.
Don't become one of those "I didn't vote for that" people. Apathy has never accomplished anything.
You need a TALLER soapbox.>>>D
My bright red GM cup was the hit of the Palmetto cove rally
uncle ned
Hoping you have a better turn out than you guys had last year wasn't it about 5 or so showed at the AVI,some polices changes can get interesting with club members I am with Dan you may need a larger soap box LOL
Well Dan and Clifford, There are those who are part of the problem and those that are part of the solution. I for one prefer to be of the latter. If others would help by getting on their "soapbox" maybe the word would get out. This goes for all the groups not just the GM folks.
Actually Clifford we turned out 8 coaches at AVI last election rally, just enough to "git er done".. We turned out 43 coaches at Quartzsite in January, and that presented the wagon master (Mikey) with a big job of handling the details, layout, parking, collecting money, and putting up with big ego's, who want preferential parking and amenities (FMCA states first come first parked) Mikey works his @$# off (with very little to spare going in) I'm glad he isn't president, I'd probably get MY @$# worked off and I "don't want the job" (sound familiar?) When the last GM news letter came out announcing the upcoming election, all positions were listed, EXCEPT GUESS WHO?? >>>D
Mikey, I can never understand people having a rally in May here in the valley I should have made that clear about the soap box it is 100 degrees here today and this is the middle of April you have your work cut out to draw people here the end of May ::),clubs are clubs ,people are people Dan not much one can do about that and I never heard that about parking per FMCA one learns something every day
I would vote, but not a member. My GM and I live in Missouri ::)
