Title: Eagle Bay Door Hinge Rubber
Post by: Seangie on April 15, 2014, 09:36:15 AM
Hey guys - Looking for Hinge Rubber for my Eagle.  I think the Part number is BS2671-204.

Ive got calls out to 2 different places (IBP and Busfixx) but wanted to know if there is another place to get the rubber as shipping right now would be tough as we are on the move in 2 days.

Also - Is it specialized to Eagles?  Will MCI, Prevost or GMC have the same or similar parts?  Is it something that can be found at a truck parts place? (TTT, Frieghtliner...etc)

Or if anyone in or around the Las Vegas or LA area has some they'd like to sell me, I'll swing by and pick it up.

thanks!

Cliff - I am going over to see Gary and Van this afternoon.  I'll let you know where I end up.   I have 1 bay door that needs it replaced asap but I have 4 (out of 8) that need to be replaced and I might do them all at the same time or maybe not... seeing as it looks lie a nightmare to try to rehang these things.  I do have 4 kids I could use to hold the bay door in place :)

Still wondering if the rubber is widely available or if it is a vanity piece that you old timers stash away in your parts collections.
