Hello everyone, I have a question, in the back of my bus (1975 MCI-5B ) under the access panels looking down
to the left ( passenger side ) there is a tank looks like it might be 8-10'' long with a hose with a 90 degree elbow
on the top. Anyone have a idea what that is and what is it for? And what is it's purpose.
Steve 5B...... Thanks in advance.
Still looking for an answer.

Still waiting for a picture.
Check it out probably was a air box drain canister offered by Detroit Diesel
If it is only about 2 inches in diameter it could be your ping tank. Don't know if you could see it from above though as mine is back by the bulk head.

Ed, it looks like it's the size of a large soup can.
BTW, if you look inside the door on the back right side you can see it up high on the bulhead. There is one
attached to the compressor line.
