Title: OT MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Post by: Dreamscape on December 09, 2006, 06:36:34 AM
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL,

We sometimes forget to slow down a bit and remember what this time of year really means for friends and family. We hope everyone has a Happy and Safe Holiday Season.

We have not had the pleasure of meeting any of you yet, but we feel humbled that this group is so caring from the outpouring shown to Daniel regarding his unfortunate accident. We will pray for him and his family. It will be hard for them.

By the way, Becky is leaving for Abilene this morning. Driving alone. I am not able to drive with her and it concerns me. Two long days on the road is a lot when you are by yourself.

I am driving our Eagle on the 20th.

Please pray for a safe trips.

Thanks.

Paul and Becky Lawry

I hate it  when Susan drives herself to work. (you don't know her driving like I do) Anything can happen and after losing so much my entire life I can't imagine losing something like her. She has been my angel sent from heaven, so I say! All in all, I just have to remember that only one person can control what happens and that isn't me! Put your trust where it belongs and everything will be just fine! Worked for me (so far)

Anyway, I'm sure your wife's trip and your trip will be ok as long as everyone is careful! This tim eof year you have to be!

eOur prayers for a safe trip come from both of us to both of you! Don't forget to send them prayers back our way! (Hey, wel can use all the help we can get) :)

To My Liberal Democratic Friends:

"Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, our best wishes for
an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress,
non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday,
practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion
of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the
religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice
not to practice religious or secular traditions at all. We also wish you a
fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated
recognition of the generally accepted calendar year 2007, but not without
due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose
contributions to society have helped make America great. Not to imply that
America is necessarily greater than any other country nor the only America
in the Western Hemisphere. And without regard to the race, creed, color,
age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wishes.
By accepting these greetings you are accepting these terms. This greeting is
subject to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely transferable with no
alteration to the original greeting. It implies no promise by the wisher to
actually implement any of the wishes for herself or himself or others, and
is void where prohibited by law and is revocable at the sole discretion of
the wisher. This wish is warranted to perform as expected within the usual
application of good tidings for a period of one year or until the issuance
of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and warranty is
limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole
discretion of the wisher."

To My Republican Friends:

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

As we are busy taking care of all the last minute details for Bussin' 2007, Paula and I want to take a moment to wish all a MERRY CHRISTMAS and a joyous and prosperous HAPPY NEW YEAR.
Let us take a moment to reflect on everything we have to be thankful for and say a prayer for those less fortunant and for our troops.  Jack & Paula
